Iranian actors Daryoush Farhang and Kazem Balouchi, two of the main characters for Iranian series ‘Amen’, will be reuniting for their new upcoming series ‘Hello Mr. Principal’.
Written and directed by Alireza Tavana, the series has finished 40 percent of the filming and is being shot in various locations in Tehran.
The family oriented film depicts the story of a man named Amir-Ali Sadr who receives an appointment as the new principal of a high school commonly referred to as a place of exile.
Grieving the loss of his recently deceased wife, Mr. Sadr quickly realizes that in order to prevent the school from permanently closing its doors, he is in need of trust, support, and solidarity from his students, colleagues, and members of the community.
Through his own hard work and everyone taking initiative, what seemed to be an impossible task at first, led to the school’s doors remaining open.
Produced by Manouchehr Shahsavari, the film’s long line of cast members include Daryoush Farhang, Kazem Balouchi, Ali Osivand, Rouzbeh Hesari, Arsalan Qasemi, and Sima Khezrabadi.
‘Hello Mr. Principal’ is expected to go on air in Iran sometime next fall.
Previously, Daryoush Farhang and Kazem Balouchi starred as ‘Colonel Shirazi’ and ‘Homayoun Tamaddon’, a cop and villain, in the sensational series ‘Amen’.
‘The Pahlavi Hat’, another hit series featuring the acting of Daryoush Farhang, is currently being aired on ifilm.
